JMS 40 M-Series
Mobile Dust Collector
JMS 40 M-Series. Overview.
The JMS 40 M-Series Dust Collectors create an air volume of 90,000 CFM (40m3/s) @ 12iwg ( -3kPa).* These complete dust collection systems feature a centrifugal fan mounted on a single manoeuvrable base, dirty air intake, filter house, clean air box, silencer, exhaust and a dust discharge system
* Alternative centrifugal fans can be used to optimize air volume and pressure to suit site conditions and specific applications.
Efficiency. Power.
One of the key features of the Grydale mobile dust collectors is the inclusion of a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) as part of the standard configuration. This ensures the dust collector provides the required air flow using the least amount of power. If there is insufficient air flow, the air flow meter on the dust collector will turn up the Variable Speed Drive (VSD) to generate more air volume. Depending on the temperature and conditions, the air flow meter will turn down the VSD so the dust collector uses less kW for the same amount of volume making the units more power efficient, resulting in a reduction in power consumption by up to 40%.

Mobility Options. Tracks, Stepping or Drag Skid.
The JMS 40 M-Series dust collectors are compact integrated systems mounted on a single compact mobile base. This provides significant space saving advantages on construction sites where space is limited. Units can be repositioned with limited downtime in construction works, as the complete unit can be moved easily using one of the three available options:
- Track Mounted Units - Grydale hold international patents for manufacturing the only self propelled, mobile dust collector on the market. Track units offer full mobility with variable speeds between 1-3mph (2-4 kph) to increase the speed and efficiency of operations. A key feature is the tracks are hydraulically driven by the diesel engine and operated via remote control. Track mobility allows dust collection units to move and operate alongside dust generating activities, reducing the volume of air requiring treatment and improving the efficiency of whole site operations.
- Hydraulic Stepping Systems - units can be moved using the hydraulic stepping system which powers four legs that lift the unit up, while a pair of skates help to move the unit forward and backwards. Movement can be repeated to achieve the desired travel distance.
- Drag Skid Mounted Units – using the designated lifting lugs at each corner of the machine skid mounted units can be lifted or drag
Power Options. Diesel, Hybrid or Electric.
The JMS-40-MDT (Mobile, Diesel, Track) and JMS-40-MDS (Mobile, Diesel, Skid) use a T4F/5 Diesel Engine to power the hydraulic pump driving the centrifugal exhaust fan, tracks, auger, rotary valve discharge system and screw compressor.
The JMS-40-MHT (Mobile, Hybrid, Track) and JMS-40-MHS (Mobile, Hybrid, Stepping System) use a T2/T3 Diesel Engine to power the hydraulic system while electric is used to drive the centrifugal exhaust fan, auger, rotary valve discharge system and screw compressor.
The JMS-40-MES (Mobile, Electric, Skid) use 380-480V to power the centrifugal exhaust fan, whilst hydraulics are used to power the auger and rotary valve discharge system.
