12,000 CFM (6m³/s) Mobile, Electric, Castor Wheel Dust Collector

The JMS-6-MEC mobile dust collectors were originally designed for tunnel cross passage construction and sites with restricted access.

The JMS-6-MEC are complete dust collection systems featuring a dirty air intake, filter house, clean air box, silencer, exhaust, dust discharge system and centrifugal fan mounted on a single manoeuvrable castor wheel base to create 12,000CFM (6m³/s) @ 10iwg (2.5kPa.)*

* Alternative centrifugal fans can be used to optimise air volume and pressure to suit site conditions and specific applications.

Mobility. Castor Wheel.

The JMS-6-MEC 12,000CFM (6m³/s), Mobile, Electric, Castor Wheel dust collector is a complete dust collection system mounted on a compact, castor wheel base. When units need to be repositioned there is limited downtime in construction works as the complete unit can be moved easily using one of the two available options:

1. Sliding – the dust collector features compressed rigid castor wheels to allow ease of movement.
2. Lifting – the dust collector also has four designated lifting lugs at each corner of the machine allowing the units to be lifted into position.

The JMS-6-MEC 12,000CFM (6m³/s), Mobile, Electric, Castor Wheel dust collector uses 380-600V to power the 37kW centrifugal exhaust fan, whilst hydraulics are used to power the auger and rotary valve discharge system.
